Welcome to Eastbourne Photographic Society

Join Eastbourne camera club – we guarantee you a warm welcome!

We meet at Victoria Baptist Church, Eldon Road, Eastbourne, BN21 1UE. As with previous years, we have an exciting programme of competitions, judges and speakers booked – with the vast majority planning to attend ‘in person’. There will also be a small number of Zoom speakers through the course of the season, allowing us to bring the knowledge and experience of presenters from further afield to our meetings.  So do come along and enjoy getting together with like-minded camera enthusiasts!

Our Programme of Workshops will continue – details to follow – including Mobile phone photography, digital camera controls, using Lightroom and Photoshop, resizing PDIs (Projected Digital Images), print preparation and much more.
There will, once again, be Special Interest Groups this season – details to follow.

Please see our Programme & Events for more details.

Club Nights

Our 2025/2026 season runs from  Tuesday 2nd September 2025 (Welcome Night), through to 3rd May 2026. Our Tuesday weekly club nights open from 19:00, with events commencing at 19:30. Meetings finish by 21:40. We have a fifteen minute break for refreshments, available before the meetings start, and again during the break.

In addition to the Main Meetings there are also frequent Workshops and Special Interest Groups, covering a host of photographic topics, these are planned throughout the season and are shared to the membership once confirmed.

All meetings are held at Victoria Baptist Church, Eldon Road, Eastbourne, BN21 1UE. The majority are presentations and workshops, but we do include a small number of Zoom sessions with remote presenters.

The club is now in it’s 132nd year, and it has seen and embraced many changes since it’s founding.  This year we will be looking at mobile phone photography tips and techniques, and there will still be a small number of zoom sessions to allow us to bring photography enthusiasts from further afield to share their knowledge and expertise with us. All our meetings should provide a friendly, enjoyable, informative opportunity to see wonderful images described and explained by experts in their field. Anyone joining the club with additional ideas or suggestions please let the committee know and we will be happy to consider these.
